"Pioneer of Spanish freeride and in search for eternal winter"
Aymar Navarro is without a doubt one of the most notorious skiers in Spain and even worldwide, becoming the ambassador of Spanish freeride thanks to his movie projects such as “South Lines” and his participation in the Freeride World Tour, where the best freeriders in the world compete. His passion for the mountains and his competitive and persistent character have led him to the world top in freeride. His first attempt with the elite was competing in the Freeride World Tour Qualifier in 2015 whereby he received an invitation to participate as a local in the Andorra event, this made him the first Spaniard to compete in an event of such high level.
In 2016 he continued participation and in 2017 he achieved a historic third place that helped him earn a fixed spot at the top of the Freeride World Tour. In 2019 he managed to get into the top 10 after the first four events and was qualified to compete with the top 12 in the grand final of the Tour, at the legendary Bec de Rosses in Verbier, Switzerland. Last season 20/21 he surprised us again with a podium finish in the Verbier final with the culmination of an incredible line. Quite a milestone.
