After many years of exploring, dreaming and planning, we offer you the incredible possibility of doing heliskiing in one of the most remote and authentic places in Sweden.
For this we set course to the small town of Nikkaluokta, located 300 km north of the Arctic Circle, in the remote county of Norrbotten.
Nikkaluokta is the door to the Tarfalla Valley, through which we connect with the heart of the Kebnekaise massif wich has several glaciers and is crowned by the highest peak in Sweden with the same name and 2136m of altitude.
A locality with majority of Sámi inhabitants, ideal to know some traditions of this ancestral culture.
Polar days, reindeer, moose, foxes and much more can be seen from the helicopter, while transporting us to unforgettable days of skiing or snowboarding, enjoying the Swedish powder and its impressive wild landscapes.
FLIGHT |AREAS
Include an area of 5000 km2, whose main areas are:
Kebnekaise: Located 5 min. From the accommodation, very alpine terrain that includes the south face of Kebnekaise and other areas such as Singitjåkka or Tarfalatjåkka.
Abisko Alps: Located 18 minutes away, this area includes the areas of Keron, Pallentjåkka, Tjåmuhas and Ballingbogicohkka.
Kåtotjåkka: y Nallo: Located 12 minutes away, it includes the areas Kåtotjåkka, Höktopparna and Vassacorru.
ALTERNATIVE |ACTIVITIES
In case the weather is bad for flying or "downdays", as well as the contracted flight time has been completed, we assure you that you'll not get bored and that you'll not stop enjoying at any time.
Skidoo
A snowmobile will exclusively be available for the group to use.
There is the possibility of an incredible 4 hour journey with a skidoo for each participant, traveling through this incredible place (extra cost).
Ski tour and ice climbing
With an approximate 2 hours of touring, we access an unparalleled spot with its perfect conical waterfall to start ice-climbing. This activity and the material are included in the price.
Ski Touring
Putting the skins in the room and accessing the adjacent peaks along with the guides, is a more than advisable possibility. Material and activity included in the price.
Cultural visits and ice fishing
You can visit the famous ice hotel in Jukasjarvi, a 1-hour drive from Nikkaluokta.
Another attractive activity is the typical ice fishing in Sweden, usually accompanied by tasty local beer.
Accommodation
A complex of typical Swedish cabins with all the comforts. They are located next to the heliport and have as a common areas a large bar restaurant and sauna. The large cabin has a large Nordic-style living area composed of fully equipped kitchen, dining room and living room with TV and fireplace. It has three double bedrooms, one bathroom and a wc room.
